Numbing Pain In The Leg After Lifting Weights. Could This Be Hernia?

Hi, i was lifting something heavy at my work couple of days ago, and i suddenly felt a numb pain, which with time started to spread through my right leg. Now, a week tater, i still feel it, it's not that intolerable, that's why i thought it's going to pass quicker, but every time i lift something (and it doesn't even have to be heavy) or try to walk up the stairs, or do some stretching or leg exercise, i feel the same irritating pain in my lower right abdomen and groin - sometimes sharp, sometimes numb - with a lot of pressure on that spot. I am afraid it might be hernia.. Can you tell me what could it be, and what can i do to make the pain go away..?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
It seems that due to lifting of heavy weight your back muscles got strain and went into spasm giving rise to this problem.
Take some pain reliever with muscle relaxant tablet for 2-3 days and you will be alright.
Meanwhile give rest to back muscles and avoid weight lifting.
Ok and bye.
