Noticed Hard Lump On The Shaft Of Penis And Puffiness Of Skin Around. Cause And Treatment?

I have noticed a small hard lump on the shaft of my penis a while back with a cord like structure running vertically through it and a slight puffiness of the skin around the area. This generally appeared during/after sex but it seems to be more permanent in the last few days. Most Internet articles point to something called a lymphocele, is this the most probable cause?

Hi and thanks for the query,

Treatment depends solely on a proper diagnosis and management plan. I suggest you consult a physician for a proper clinical review, The duration of symptoms, experience of having had unprotected sexual intercourse lately, presence or absence of itches are all important to note. This could be an acute infection like urethritis from bacteria of a chronic condition from Human papilloma Virus. I suggest you book an appointment with your primary care physician as you avoid any unprotected sex as of now.
Kind regards,
