Sometimes, minor traumatic injury to the butt area can result in bruising or irritation that may manifest as bumps or lumps in the area. Wear loose, not tight-fitting clothes, take care of your hygiene and avoid activities that cause excessive skin rubbing. You can apply ointment Neosporin on the affected area. Take a course of Augmentin orally as butt bumps do not go away easily. In case your butt bump is persistent and bothersome, you should see a physician, get STD tests done to stay on the safer side (to rule out HPV) infection.
