No Periods For 5 Years, Gaining A Lot Of Weight Around The Abdomen. Any Chances Of Becoming Pregnant ?

I am 54 and have not had my period for 5 years. I assumed I was in menopause and of course, have been gaining a lot of weight around the abdomen. I am active, try to eat healthy and am still gaining weight. Weird, but tonight I thought I felt a "kick". What are the chances of becoming pregnant at this age and stage in my life?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
In my opinion you are not pregnant as all these symptoms , mentioned in query , don't relate to pregnancy.
Morning sickness, sour mouth ,nausea, mild giddiness, salivation from mouth. weakness and tiredness ( mild).
In my opinion due to overeating and menopause there is increase in weight.
Still , you have any doubt please get in Home pregnancy test.
Good luck.
