Ignore any suggestions that have sex as a solution. This will not fix any personal health problems that you have within your body and could introduce new ones if you had unprotected sex and contracted Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD's). It is important that you get your health OK first. I'm sure you are too sensible for that. You sound like a sensible girl who is trying to do the right thing in very difficult circumstances.
This could be caused by hormonal imbalance or a poor diet or both. Try eating a diet of two pieces of fresh fruit and at least four or five serves of vegetable per day to start with along with a serve of fish, chicken or red meat eg beef, lamb or pork.Only eat take aways as a treat about once a month. They have most of the vitamins and minerals necessary for a good diet missing in them and this is why a lot of people who eat take aways a lot have poor health. They are lacking these vitamins and minerals in their system necessary for good health. You GP may prescribe a vitamin suplement for you to take.
I think that you are going to have to check with the doctor. Go along yourself next time your Mum goes for a pre - natal check - up. If you are not sick as a result of not having your period then the doctor may just let nature take its' course. However, seeing that you are very late starting your period I think that he/she will investigate the situation and may even give you a light dose of the hormone estrogen, I think, just to get you started.
Time will tell. The main thing is to stay healthy. Stay occupied. Take up a hobby. Perhaps join a church group or sports group for company. Stay focused on school. In spite of tough times education, even if it is boring at times, is still the key to success in the future. Don't get depressed. You will pull through in the end. I don't think that you are sterile. I do think that all will be well in the end.
Good Luck!!!
