Is Filaria Rt Curable?
hai yestersday we came to know that my mom is affected by Filaria rt and doctor has asked her to come again on sat. is it curable? i am worried a lot. Regards Arthi

hi yes filaria is treatable.it can be cured with eofil 100 mg thrice daily for 12 days.but sometimes edema of the leg is left alone if treatment is delayed.oral bandy plus 12 mg weekly once for 3-4 weeks can be used to reduce the recurrence.seratiopeptidase can be used to reduce the edema of the leg
