my cousin got a virus and it went to the eye and it is causing problems with her equilibrium. she is in a wheel chair and can not stand up on her own. they are saying it will take 2 weeks to 2 months to recover. my question is this...can she make a full recovery or will there be residual side effects?
Hello It seems from the history that your cousin is having viral infection in the eye. The treatment for viral infections is by use of antivirals and antibiotics to prevent secondary infection. The viral infections can be infective or immunological and treatment depends on the type of involvement. Hence I advice you to get consultation by your ophthalmologist at least once to find out the type and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
