Need Medication For Pain In Wrist

I play volleyball. last season I hurt my wrist pretty bad. when I went to the doctor he told me he thought it could be my growth plate. He put a cast on. took it off and now I just started playing again this season and the pain is back. It only hurts when I twist it like opening a door. What could this be?

Hi,

The location and movement of a pain gives clues as to what is going on cannot say in your particular case, but generally, growth plate is deep in and tendons and muscles more on the surface and more tender to touch (because on the surface). Growth plate pain would often recur as would the others.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
