Need Medication For Hernia
I was training for a obstacle race when I developed the hernia. It s about the size of a marble. It hurts a little but is mainly uncomfortable. I am worried I will lose all my fitness gains. I am unable to afford the surgery right now. Can I still run at least?

hello,
1) ideally you should not do any heavy weight lifting, marathon running, excessinve straing to pass stool as all these increases pressure inside abdomen and it may worsen the hernia.
2) it also depend on which type if hernia you develop, for direct type hernia there is not muc worry as it reduces back easily but indirect hernia sometimes can't reduce back and for such hernia you need emergency surgery
3) here remember that there is no medication for hernia. It only relieves your symptoms. surgery is only treatment for cure of any type of hernia
