Need Medication For Burning Of Throat,nasal Drainage & Soreness In Soft Palate
burning in the back of throat, nasal drainage and soreness in soft palate..also left ear is mild ache with swollen gland below it. had a sinus infection last week and was put on azithromicin. Had sore throat before sinus infection though. I am hpv 16 had hysterectomy in 08 due to precancer cells...I am a smoker.

Your symptoms seem to be related to an upper respiratory tract infection.
I recommend consulting with your doctor for a physical exam and some tests:
- complete blood count
- sinus X ray study
- a bacterial culture of the sputum or material from your throat, in order to identify the possible infectious agent and the optimal treatment.
Sometimes infections are resistent to antibiotics.
