Nausea And Pain In Lower Esophagus, Area Hard And Enlarged But Having No Problem In Digestion. What Is The Reason?

Nausea and pain in the area of the lower esophageal sphincter. Radiates to between the lower shoulder blades. Also the area of the lower esophageal sphincter is hard and enlarged but I don't have trouble with digestion. I do have gastritis and drink 2 drinks every night of the week usually vodka drinks. Some think It's my gallbladder any ideas would be much appreciated

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Pain in chest area radiating to shoulder blade, first need to rule out cardiac cause. Get ECG and ECHO test done As early as possible. Ultrasound abdomen helpful to find gallbladder problem. Its difficult to feel lower esophageal sphincter As it lies behind rib cage.
As you have found hard enlarged mass near upper abdomen, it could be enlarged liver. Consult doctor for examination.

Hope this helps you.

Regards
