Normal pulse rate is about 70-72. The pulse rate about 116/min is quite harmful as it may damage not only heart but other vital arteries and veins which constitute the circulatory system. Such a condition requires immediate medical consultations. you may visit Narayana Hrudayalaya or Wockhardt Heart Institute situated in bangalore for further references.
