My Husband Was Just Diagnosed With Superficial Thrmbophiebitis In His

My husband was just diagnosed with superficial thrmbophiebitis in his right arm.
He is a transplant recipient and the right arm had the vein changed before he went on
dialysis but when he got the transplant the vein was put back to normal.
Never bothered him til last week after he lifted bags of mulch. We think that caused it.
He was told by ER to keep heat on it and not to lift anything. They did an Ultra Sound and
said no blood clot or anything. Yet he is still in pain on his arm and can only take a cream
like Fire & Ice, no ibuprofen drugs only Tylenol which does not help. He doesn't feel like
eating and no appetite. Pls advise your opinion.
