My husband is 50 years old and had swelling of his legs and knees and is very painful. The water retention was overnight and has lingered now for about a month or so. He has been to the local V.A Hospital and they have run test many test and have only found that his sugar was elevated only by a small percent. They also put him on water pills and that has help alittle. But any idea of what could be wrong
