My husband has high cholesterol and high triglyerides. What is the best way to help lower them? Give me specifics please. Like what foods should he eat and avoid?

I know it sounds illogical, but the Atkins Diet, if adhered to strictly, will correct both problems (it did for me). Limit carb consumption to 20 grams or less per day for two weeks, then gradually add a few more (up to about 60 per day). Yes, it's difficult, particularly during the first two weeks, but it WILL work. Check out Atkin's website for a list of specific foods to eat and not eat during each phase.
