What Causes Dizziness And Shortness Of Breath?

I am 42yrs old.I have pulmonary hypertension.emphysema/copd, high cholesterol, high blood pressure.My blood pressures been 136/101. Pulse 99. I ve been having dizzy spells when i stand up and extreme shortness of breath where I ll need my rescue inhaler.I have had high cholesterol since i was 24yrs old.Should i be concerned about my elevated blood pressure?

Yes. Your Diastolic BP of 101 is a cause of concern f that is present persistently. There needs to be check of features of Heart failure (Right heart), which probably will be present in your case. You need to see a pulmonologist and a cardiologist and optimise your treatment for BP and ? Heart failure and Pulmonary Hypertension. A team of specialist working together will be better.
