My husband has been toER several times in recent months. First diagnosed with acid reflex. Has seen upper GI Doctor. Has had endoscopy and other test where they go down the nose with thin tube. Have determined he has imflamation in throat. Doctor has said he has hypo motility disorder of esophagus. Has on multiple meds. Biopsy show no cancer. He continues to feel like his throat has a restriction finding difficult once again to swallow even Ensure. Thru the last months has lost 35 lbs. this evening we were out. He got dizzy weak throat feeling very tight discomfort in chest, very cold. Didn't want go to ER, was late by half hour on medicine. Hope to get primary care doctor to refer ENT Doctor Monday.
