My Friend Robert Has High BP Of 160/90. Other Related Problem Is Nerves Pain At Back Of The Neck.

my friend Robert has high blood pressure ( 160 / 90) and had lower limits 90-100 since one month. best cure ? age- 40 years old, Habits- smoking drinking, Robert is railway mechanic,his daily physical workload is 5-6 hrs, other related problem is nerves pain at back of the neck.

Since he already has a high level of physical activity, I would say cut out salt and stop smoking. The drinking depends on how much he drinks. One drink a day is not a problem, but the higher he goes over that, the more he needs to cut back. I hope he is already seeing a doctor, but he should go back and tell him the medication he gave him is not working well enough.
