My Daughter Has I Believe Pappilodema In One Of Her
My daughter has I believe Pappilodema in one of her eyes, she has been seen by a Neurosurgeon that she was referred to, following an eye examination after she complained of a headache over one eye. They tried steroid drops first but it has worsened. She feels as if her eye will explode. She has an MRI and an Orbit MRI and one other which I can't remember the name of booked for three weeks time. I feel that this is too long to wait as her pain is great and I am so worried. She is 40 yrs old and Mother of three small girls two are under 5. She has to fly on a business trip over week end on two plains and I need to know if the flying could worsen her condition and also if she does have some sort of tumour, will a three week wait for MRIs be detrimental? Pls tell me worse case scenario as I need to be prepared .
