My Son Vishwas 9 Month Old , He Suffering From

My Son Vishwas 9 Month old , He suffering from loose motion since from the 5 days , this is started due to change in the milk, hope so. we have consulted the doctor he has given Oflox, Baby Gesic, Colicaid and Powder(Soya) which increase the energy .
Even after the treatment the loose motion not get reduced instead it increasing , we took him to again doctor but he said it will take 3 day to see the effect of medicine. But third day it become more .

Symptoms which i observed , I seen some Red patches behind the Hear and in head , it may be mosquito bite(same answer got from my wife) and after two day it disappear,
Why i am telling this, Is there any chance due to mosquito bite baby suffer from Loose motion Or Is that due to change in the Milk,

I am really scared, Please advice Which test is more effective to find the reason for loose motion and what precaution should i follow.

Thanks in advance to all who helped.

Regards
Chetan

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. Loose motions or diarrhea is a very common symptom of GI tract infection, either viral, bacterial or due to any other reason. It is commonly treated with extensive rehydration to replace lost fluids and to give your baby antibiotics generically to avoid any bacterial infection. I think there is no relationship between mosquito bites and what is currently happening to your baby. Change in milk may cause this kind of behavior, however it does not last too long and gets better over time. I also hope you get your baby tested for any gluten allergy or lactose intolerance and consult a pediatrician for the same. Weaning is a difficult phase in a baby's life and I hope this allayed your anxiety. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day!
