My Eustachian Tube Feels Blocked. Do I Need My Ear Syringed?

Had a course of anti biotics for a supposed ear infection. Doctor said ear drum was covered with wax so hard to tell if infected but gave me a 5 day course anyway and asked me to book in for an ear syringe in 10 days. Now my eustacian tube feels blocked and all the noises in my ear I think are coming from this area. Do you think I would still need the ear syringed as I have never had a wax problem before. I am 54 year old female. I am thinking this is the aftermath of a cold I had a few weeks ago. What would you recommend?

Hello

The noises and the block can be due to the wax and and also the block of the eustachian tube. I would like you to get your ear cleaned/syringed so the diagnosis can be confirmed and you can be treated properly. Please continue the antibiotics.
Thanks
