Hi,

To be active & swift please let your have daily exercise workouts with jogging/runing,/areobics ( preferably early in morning )with high protein, vitamin rich diet(milk, egg, vegetables, salads, fruits)She is still v. young so the things should not be compelling -but entertaining.
She should be allowed to engagge herself in hobbies of her interest as well for fixed time in a day.
For concentration, pranayama along with Bramri,Omkar,Meditation done with +ve thinking will be of great help.

hankhapushpi 2 spoons twice a day after food -along with above changes in life style will help.
thanks.

Psychiatrist Dr. Keerthish Shetty's  Response
Hi Keerthan,
There can be many reasons for not being able to concentrate on studies. Anxiety and lack of interest are usually the culprits in most cases. Also, one should understand that it is not humanely possible to concentrate for long hours without taking breaks.

The solution is to first ensure that she is motivated to study. Ask her if she is having any trouble studying (not understanding a particular subject). In such a case, help her out by yourself or through additional coaching. Maintain regular eating and sleeping schedules. Plan and execute studies in advance so that she is not very anxious during the exams. Remember that "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". Therefore, include a session of games and physical activity in the daily routine.
