Missing Period, Got Fibroid Removed By Laparotomy. Taking Medication. Treatment?
Hi. I had laparotomy to remove fibroid in September 2012. I took Zoladex 3mg once monthly in August and September 2012. I 've not have my period back since then. My doctor prescribed Progynova 2mg to be taking twice a day for one week in third week of march 2013. I'm worried that I've not still have my period. What do I do next?
hello, The zoladex injections would put your body in a menopausal state shutting off your hormones but also allowing your fibroids to shrink. It might take a few months for you to start ovulating again. Your GP or consultant can send you for blood tests to see if this is happening. Fear and anxiety can also prevent you having a period.THANK YOU.
