Missed Period, Negative Pregnancy Test. Have Irregular Periods, Low Hormone Level. Pregnancy Chance?

So I had my period last month on the 8th and I still haven t get it this moth .. I m don t have a regular period but this time it s been the longest I ever waited to get my period , I actually get every 17 to every 25 days, but it s been 38 days and nothing yet. I did a pregnancy test yest n it was neg.. Is there any chance that I could still b pregnante but my hormones are too low to show ?

Hi,

There are chances that you may still be pregnant and the hormone HCG is low to show up.

Please wait for another week and redo the urine pregnancy test. To confirm it, you can always get a blood serum HCG levels done which can precisely say about pregnancy.

If the HCG tests are negative, then there may be hormonal imbalance causing the delay in periods. In such a case, consult your gynaecologist and you may be prescribed oral contraceptive pills to regularize the cycle.
