Miscarriage, Have PCOS, TSH Level Abnormal. On Folic Acid Tablets. Get Pregnant Again?

Hi i got miscarried last dec when i was in 3rd month i went for check up this may to confirm that i am ready to conceive but during the test i came to know that i have pcod and thyroid TSH 12.48 which they said it is high i was said to use m2 tone tablets twice a day and ovigyn d tablets thrice a day and b long-f folic acid tablets i want to know is there any risk in getting pregnant again my periods are regular but not on the same date every monthmy weight is 77 and my height is 5 feet 3 inch.please give me advice.thank you

Hello,

Before trying to conceive, your TSH level should be normal or below 4 mIU/ ml under thyroid medication. Otherwise, it may cause several complication for both mother and baby during pregnancy period. Therefore, you must take thyroid medication and iodized salt in diet to combat thyroid deficiency and pregnancy loss.

Do regular physical exercise to reduce body weight and take low carbohydrate diet. Avoid mental stress and continue above medicine. Good luck.
