Hello and welcome to HCM
Mantle zone lymphoma
is a malignancy of lymph nodes.
It is known to occur at extra-nodal sites like gastro-intestinal tract, thyroid, lung and breast.
Presence of marginal zone lymphoma
in breast accounts for only 4 % cases of extra-nodal cases.
This is alymphoma of B lymphocytes.
This lymphoma has an indolent course and spread to other organ systems is slow.
Further you need to get a bone marrow examination
as spread to bone marrow is an omnious sign.
Spread to blood also signifies a poor prognosis.
Treatmwnt modalities are a combination of radiation
therapy and chemotherapy
Thanks and take care
