I think the nodules on your neck are enlarged lymph nodes. You also have some skin problem on your left cheek. Enlarged lymph nodes can be caused by infection, auto-immune diseases or malignancy.
As I was reading through your case, two possibilities came to my mind, one is shingles
of face. It is an infection caused by same virus as chickenpox
. It comes down with fever
and weakness too. Other possibility is lymphoma
causing enlargement of lymph nodes.
It is important to do a physical examination and investigations to get to a diagnosis and to rule out the ominous possibilities.
If it is shingles then it will improve over a period of 3-4 weeks. But the post-shingles complications like pain can last for a period of months. An anti-viral like acyclovir
can help in reducing the complications.
