Lump on neck in between throat and collar bone, discomfort, trouble catching breath, fever

I have a visible lump on my neck in between my throat and collar bone. It throbs randomly and causes discomfort. I am also having trouble catching my breath. The pain shoots up from the lump near my collar bone up my throat and. The pain only exists in an area of about 5 inches. I m not erratically coughing. I did however run a fever today

Thanks for writing to us.
The lump that you have mentioned with fever is likely to be a swollen lymph node. A direct examination and FNAC will help in confirmation of diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
