Lump On Ear, Dizziness, Constant Headache, Shoulder Pain. What Can Be Done?

Hello,

I'm 22 and generally in good health. About 4 weeks ago I found a solid lump below my left ear by my lower jaw. Over the past 4 weeks my neck has felt like its getting tighter although the lump is not visable I can feel it there without touching it. I have felt quite fuzzy in the head and have had constant headaches, and also aching in my left shoulder and down my left arm. I have no obvious signs of infection

Many thanks

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello
the solid lump could be an enlarged lymph node.
the lymph node gets enlarged because of some underlying infection .But the pain in left arm and shoulder should not be there.
it could also be an enlarged salivary gland
or rarely a swelling arising from a nerve which can present with such pain in arm and shoulder.
You must consult an ENT specialist as proper examination is required.
