Lower Abdominal Pain When Muscles Are Strained. Could This Be Pulled Muscle?

I have a lower abdominal pain on my left side. I was doing some lifting and cleaning. I can t feel that there is any lump or bulge such as a hernia but I am overweight. Could it be a pulled muscle? I was out shopping for the day and it didn t bother me that much. Hurts in the evening and overnight a bit when I get up or strain. It seems to be in one localized area.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having abdominal muscle strain due to weight lifting and cleaning giving rise this problem.
Apply local analgesic cream.
Take NSAID medicine for 2-3 days.
Ok and take care.
