Low body temperature -post exercise

I ve been tracking my bbt and I m somewhat below average at about 96.5 in the follicular phase and 97-97.5 in the luteal phase. On a whim, I took my temp a few hours after running a half-marathon, expecting a higher than normal temp, but it was 94.0. I took it twice to be sure. After taking a hot bath (for my sore muscles), it went up, as expected to 98.3. What should I make, if anything of that low reading ? or my somewhat low bbt ?

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
For bbt, you will have to consider the reading you took after a bath or you can opt for an average of three different readings at three different times of the day. Lower body temp after exercise is due to excessive perspiration during marathon.
