From the description provided and treatment prescribed it seems you have alopecia areata
. The treatment provided is satisfactory. Personally, for a single lesion I prefer giving intralesional steroid
and prefer giving betnesol
only if lesions are numerous or progressive.
Betnesol can cause acidity or peptic ulcers hence it has to be taken after food and for the same reason your doctor prescribed nexpro RD as it is an antacid
. It has no role in alopecia
Hope that helped. Take care
