Your ear is infected.
You will require an appropriate antibiotic, local antibiotic
ear drops and nasal decongestant drops.
Start the nasal decongestant drops ( otrivin
) immediately since it is available over the counter without a prescription.
Otrivin will decongest the eustachian tubes which in turn helps to control the ear infection
Follow the instructions on the crimp for using otrivin properly.
Otrivin should be used 3 times a day. 10 minutes after putting the drops please do steam inhalation for 10 minutes. Do not use otrivin for more than 5 days.
Keep your ears dry. Do not let water to get inside.
Do not probe your ears or try to clean the ears with buds.
