Lipid Profile And Uric Acid Test Results Shows SER CHOLESTROL 244. Meaning?

Mention below is lipid profile and uric acid test results. Please advise me the foods to be taken and to be avoided.

Hi thanks for your question.
Your lipid profile is normal except for cholesterol which is slightly above normal and your serum uric acid levels are slightly high..Upper limit of serum cholesterol is is 200mg/dl and your value is 244 which means 44 mg/dl is more. Upper limit of serum uric acid is 7.2 and your value is 8.1.which is slightly raised. Both these conditions can be managed by life style modification. Life style modification means change the way you eat and live. For uric acid you have to restrict red meat intake. For cholesterol again you have to decrease red meat intake plus low oils/fats. Include lot of green vegetables and fruits in your diet and go for daily exercise. By these measures hopefully your cholesterol and uric acid value will be restored to normal
