Lines On The Outer Half Of Right Eye, Dizzy. Cause?

I am currently at work. I work on a computer all day. About ten minutes ago I was talking on the phone but still looking at the computer screen when I noticed wiggly lines or waves in my field of vision . I see the lines on the outer half of my right eye. I don t really have a headache but I started feeling dizzy because of this. It is starting to clear up now . What could cause this? I have never experienced this before. Thank you.

Hi, There are many causes for the same.

Some of them are like migraine, intravitreal hemorrhage or retinal damage. Since it is associated with dizziness there may be chance of reduced blood supply to brain/eyes and causing this problem. So I advice you to get evaluated for the same to rule out any problem. You require slit lamp examination and retinal examination with general physical examination. For now have plenty of fluids and good nutritious diet. Consult your doct for examination once.
Hope this helps you.

Regards
