Late Periods, Unprotected Sex. Dizziness, Mild Cramps. Pregnant?

Hi there!

My last period ended on the 27th of March, i have a 21 day cycle so my period should have come again this past Wednesday. It's Saturday and there's still nothing! Since Monday however, I've been experiencing very very mild cramps that come and go. I've also been dizzy, especially if i stand up too fast or turn too quickly. My fiance and i do not use protection but we are not actively trying either, what happens happens! Should i take a test and risk being disappointed or can we start getting excited?
Ps: last month my period was 2 days late, but i did have a proper one)

Hello,
thanks for using health care magic.

A missed period in a sexually active couple warrants investigation
for a possible pregnancy. However, delayed menses sometimes
could be taken for a missed period which is usually not the case.
It is normal to have a delayed period for a few days though some
situations can predispose to delayed periods such as stress,
miscalculations, change in your work schedules, sudden ill health,
and pregnancy as well.

It is not possible to ascertain whether you are pregnant now or
not without carrying out a pregnancy test. Symptoms such as
morning vomiting, increase breast size, weakness etc appear only
after 5 or 6 weeks after fertilization.
Whatever the case, you will eventually know sooner or later
whether you are pregnant or not and so you should take the test.

Best regards and hope this helps you.
