Late Period, Less Bleeding, Abdominal Pain. Negative Pregnancy Test. Normal?
Hi, I always had 28 day cicle and i always be fix except last four month although is the first time i am 6 days late. Today at 2pm I had a very slight blood one and i am experiencing low abdominal ache. I did a home test today in the morning and was negative. Notice i am trying to get pregnat since September 2012. Should I visit a doctor? Or it is normal to have such a lateness? Thank you!
It is not uncommon to have slight variation in menstrual cycle. It can range from 24 to 34 days. Variation ca be due to stress, infection, hormonal imbalance or any other unknown cause. Lower abdominal pain, menstrual irregularity and infertility may suggest Pelvic inflammatory Disease, which should be ruled out. If you have never had a child before and it has been about an year with unprotected sex or you have had child and you have problem with conceiving again than you should visit your doctor along with your husband.
Difficulty in conceiving can be due to many factors related to you and your husband. So detailed history and thorough examination can catch the problem and doctor can help you.
Hope it helps.
