Kidney Scan Done. How Can This Stone Be Removed?

Salam dear Sir ,

i have kidney stone,May this stone will remove from medicine or opration , please see the below detail ,
age:34- sex male-exam date 14/11/2013,
Radiology report :

INTRAVENOUS PYELOGRAM :

Scoul: 1.6 cm well-defined left renal calculus seen ,
post -contrast
1 min : bilateral simultaneeous nephrograms observed,
right kidney measures 13 cm in bipolar lenght.
left kidney measures 13.8 cm in bipolar lenght,
5 min,
mild contour deformity of the left renal pelvis with the calculus seen as a filling defect within the pelvis with mild pelviectasis,
the pelvicalyceal system on the right appears normal.
15 min:
the ureters otherwise appear normal in course and caliber,
bladder : normal in coutour,
No filling defect seen
Post-void residue : insignificant
impression :
34- years old male with left renal calculus,
IVP series show :
1.6 cm calculus within the renal pelvis with mild contour abnormality of the renal pelvis and mild pelviectasis.

Hi,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.
Your renal stone is 1.6 cms. It is difficult to treat it with medicines. Nor will such a big stone pass out normally through ureters after drinking lots of water.
Such a big stone needs to be removed by laser.
You can undergo lithotripsy which has good results for such stones.
