Itchy spot on foot, growing, painful. History of melanoma. What could the spot be?

I have a small spot on my right foot near the right edge which Itches. I thought it was a flea bite, but now it is larger and it is starting to become painful since it sticks out. It worries me because about 20 years ago I had a melanoma on the right thigh. It is not discolored in any way, and just seems to be growing.
