Itchy And Painful Raised Spots At The Base Of Spine And On Groin Area. Are They External Thrush?

I have a patch of raised spots at the base of my spine which is itchy and painful. I ve had pain down the back of one leg (which I did think maybe was sciatica) and I ve now found spots in my groin area and down the back of the same leg. I also felt like I had external thrush. I ve now had this over a week.

hi
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum
You seem to have developed a fungal infection of the groin region, which can be either tinea infection or candidiasis.
You should try to keep the groin region clean and dry .
Do not apply any kind of oils or moisturizing creams over the groin region .
Wear cotton undergarments inorder to reduce sweating.
You need to use an antifungal agent like  Clotrimazole gel over the affected area twice a day.
Also you might need to take oral antifungals for upto 6 weeks.
And to relieve the itching, take oral antihistamines .

Hope it helps,
