Itching Without Rash, Scrotodynia, Lamisil, Contagious

i m quite sure my itching without rash or signs is scrotadynia. I ve tried lamasil anti fungal to no avail for a week now. Is there a better cure? Cortisone i heard. Is it contageous to my female lover? Thankyou

Hi

See the type of itching that you have can be due to two major causes.
Either it is due to an infection ,that is a fungal infection or it can be due to an eczematous skin condition.
Now the treatment for both of these skin conditions is entirely different, so I would advise you not to self treat yourself.
You might need treatment with either topical steroids or with topical antifungal creams.
You should see a nearby dermatologist for proper assessment and treatment.
