Itching In The Rectum With Pain. Steroid Cream Prescribed. Throbbing Pain In The Anus. Due To Dehydration?

i am a weightloss surgery patient im a year out and i almost never get in enough water. over the last few months i have had rectal itching and pain frequently. my pcp prescribed a steriod cream that helps but hasent cured the problem recently i have had episodes of spasms in my anus that last for 8-12 hours its a dull throbbing ache. could this be due to dehydration?

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
From last few months there is itching in rectum with feeling of pain.
Spasms in anus that lasts for 8-10 hours.
In my opinion your disease is not related to dehydration ( as you stated).

Reasons are many but few of them are as,
1 Diabetic itch,
2 Hemorrhoids
3 Fistula in anus,
4 Dermatitis,
5 Worm infestation.
Local steroid as fails so consult a physician and get in physical examination for piles ( hemorrhoids, most probable cause).
