Is Yellow Bruise And Pain After Hip Replacement Concerning?
i have a hip replacement and the hip was taken out because of a infection about 1 year ago and they left me with a antibiotic spacer . 3 days ago i went to the emergency room because it hurt so bad that it felt like it was dislocated, but there is no hardware in there anymore.Today i looked at the scar and it looks yellow like a bruise. Is this something that i should be concerened with? I had a cat scan done at the hospital when i was there and it came back neg and my bloodwork was ok white count was fine, but now its yellow and i dont know what to think about it could i of have been pinching a nerve or tissue i could not move it at all with have a level of 10 plus pain. should i be concerened about the yellowing
You say there is a spacer which is similar to implant and can cause pain.I am more concerned with yellowish part. That can signify infection. Getting counts raised or having fever may not always be present, as these occur with body response to infection which can be suppressed by low immunity or being on antibiotic treatment.
