Is Wysolane Steroid Invasive Injection Appropriate Medication To Treat Floaters In Eyes? Do I Fear Loss Of Vision?

Hello,
I am having numerous floaters in my left eye since last two months. My eye specialist first tried to cure it with Wysolane steroid tablets and Predmet eye drops. It reduced by around 20 percent post the this treatment. But it did not cure the floaters completely. It is very annoying to have it in the field of vision as my work consists of concentrating in front of a computer for the whole day.
He later decided to have invasive treatment wherein steroid was injected to the eye. He gave an injection somewhere below the eye few days back. I still find no change in the percentage of floaters.
I wanted to confirm if this treatment is appropriate. Will it affect my eye in any way. I am very worried about losing my vision.
Could you please help?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Thanks for asking query on health care magic.
Floaters occur due to vitreous degeneration.
There is no treatment for floaters.
Some people will do vitrectomy in advanced cases.
Usually you get used to them after some time.
This is my personal experience also.
Still if you have any doubt better consult Ophthalmologist who will be able to explain you well..
Hope this answer will serve your purpose.
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required.
Take care
