Is Vaginal Bleeding When On HCG Diet Post Menopause Related?
I am a 55 year old woman who has not had a period in over 4 years. I am now on the HCG diet and take the shots and two weeks in have experienced vaginal bleeding. First it was bright red and now its dark almost brown not a lot but blood just the same. Is this a side effect of the shots?

Hi, I think it can be a side effect of the shots, but you should rule out other causes also. Do a ultrasound to see for endometrial thickness and if it is more than 4 mm, go for a endometrial biopsy. Consult a gynecologist. Hope I have answered your question.
