Hello,

Congrats for your pregnancy!

I carefully read your concern and I do understand your query.

I would strongly recommend you to start the treatment with eltroxin because during pregnancy the TSH level should be maintained lower than normal (01-2.5 during the first trimester) in order to prevent possible effect for the pregnancy outcome and the development of the baby.

After starting the treatment the TSH should be monitored closely (every 4 weeks) because the demands for eltroxine differ during different trimesters.
Hope the information is helpful and enjoy your pregnancy!

Best wishes,
Dr.M.Guni
