Is Thyroid Biopsy Advisable While Having Chills And Hot Flashes?
Hello, I had a thyroid biopsy YEARS ago, was supposed to return and never have, however it s very large and I m having many of the symptoms. Muscle and bone aches, swelling of ankles calves and hands, HARD TO SWALLOW, chills and hot flashes etc, etc... Do I need to go back? Will I have to have another biopsy???

Yes,you may go for biopsy of thyroid tissue despite having symptoms like chills,hot flashes and swallowing difficulty.
It will not create any problem in that.
However,you may take symptomatic treatment like pain killers,antacids with antihistamines which will be avialble over the counter.
So,you may go back and consult physician for further procedure.
