Is This Because Of Ring Worm?

Just the other day I found some knots under my little girls arm. She says that they're not painful but they're discolored and that they itch and they're hard. Then today I found a ring worm not far from where the knots are at. So could the infection that her system is fighting be the ringworm.

Ringworm as you probably know is a skin fungus. Unless she has got a bacterial infection from scratching the swelling that you noticed is not noticed with ring worm alone.
