Is There Anything Common Between Gastritis And Flu?

Hi my partner has recently been told he gas gastritis, and for the last few days he has had symptoms of the flu. He has a full on headache, aches all over, has a sore throat and constantly blowing his nose. Do the two have anything in common ? Im only worried this time as hes never ill and ssys this is the worst he has ever felt.

hello. mostly these two conditions are not related however he may have developed gastritis due to the physical stress or any drugs which may have been started for the flu. don't worry he will be alright. thanks
