Is There Any Treatment For The Dilated Eyes In A Person Having Grave's Disease?
My husband has graves disease. He has had his thyroid killed using radio active iodine. Recently I noticed one of the pupils in his eye is larger than the other one. both are dialated a bit more than normal. He is not taking any medications other than synthroid 150. Could this be something serious?. I shter anything we can do to help them return to normal?
Hello It seems from the history that your husband is having dilated pupil and he is also having grave' s disease. The dilated pupil can be because of third nerve palsy and since he is having grave' s disease also this requires examination to rule out this cause. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for evaluation and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
